Big Beat / Drum & Bass / Moobahton
Lucius Natick plans his DJ sets almost exclusively around harmony. He hand-picks every song, researches and experiments on countless transitions, to make sure his mixes flow as seamlessly and as logically as possible. It’s tragic really, because Lu puts all his forethought into DJing the most cacophonous, sinister drum & bass in the world, juxtaposed over hardcore rap and groove metal.
Oh sure, he loves playing neurofunk, techstep, and jazzy d&b, and he’s ever happy to change things up with a diversion into dubstep, big beat, moombahton or trap-- but at the end of the day, Lu’s DJ sets work with the precision and subtlety of a cruise missile.
